Hi Everyone
I know some of us have talked about this and I have also put it to the committee, who are in agreement, but we feel that the running clubs are being used to a large extent by the London Marathon with very little return for our efforts. Therefore we are suggesting that we boycott running the water station in 2023. I have attached some information re the LM and the reasons for this proposal.
Please read through it and let me at sharonlhoney@hotmail.com or any committee members know what you think. Of course, withdrawing our support is not to be taken lightly as many people enjoy the day but the real reason is that the club gets very few places in return which we feel is not fair and does not promote goodwill.
