To all Ilford AC Members
The 2022 Track season is nearly upon us and once again the club is entered in the Southern athletics senior league and the Eastern Young Athletes league
Below are dates and venues:
Southern league
Sunday May 22nd Lee Valley
Sunday June 12th Parliament Hill
Saturday July 16th Lee Valley
Saturday August 13th Woodford
Eastern Young athletes League
May 1- Thurrock
June 5th-Chelmsford
July 10th Hornchurch
August 14th Braintree
For the Southern league please support your club .In every match we struggle to get enough helpers or athletes . Feel free to come along and try an event you have never done to help the club get points. Over last few years we have had club members who have never competed on the track before and really surprised themselves on how well they did and how much they enjoyed the day and the support of the whole Ilford team. If you are interested in helping/competing please contact wayne Hick(w.m.hick@btinternet.com)
To compete for the club you do need to be a club member and I will need to register you with the Southern league
For the young athletes league the age group is 11-16 and athletes compete in their own age group.Once again if we have any youngsters that want to compete please provide me details asap with name,age group,English athletics number and events they would like to compete in
