A historic day for the club last Sunday when for the first time in decades Ilford AC were able to compete in the Eastern Young Athletics League.
Each and every one of our youngsters did themselves and the club proud.
Of course none of this would have been possible without the hard work and determination of our coaches Wayne Hick, Gary Floate and Ian Gains and the selflessness of Nicola Hopkinson and Ernie Forsyth who gave up their time to officiate on the day.

Elsewhere Julia Galea had a great run in Ware (where?) to earn herself a trophy and continue the good progress she is making towards this years London Marathon under the guidance of coach robbo.
