Well – It’s been a remarkable 111 days since my last Press Report, a period that has seen the country in Lock-down with all competition and organised training banned.
Even now as restrictions are slowly lifted we are still restricted to training in groups of 6 individual ‘bubbles’ and seem nowhere near to actual physical races.
(I know everyone knows this, but in 100 years when people read our archives I don’t want them to think that after 10 years of racing every week we suddenly had a 4 month gap when either nothing happened or the Press officer went on sick leave or was sacked!!!).

Although the attached report is of a ‘virtual’ race, it’s a step in the right direction and is a testimony to the club that we can still put out a large squad across all age groups and abilities.

Well done team and let’s hope it’s not 111 days until my next report.

If I have made any mistakes, or if anyone wants a PB mentioned please get back to me before midday tomorrow (Tuesday)when I shall ‘attempt’ to to get this to the Press.
I say ‘attempt’ as I am not sure if our contact is back off of furlough.
