Dear club member

Further to our statement below regarding the club 2020/21 membership fee “holiday” thank you to everyone who responded to Nicola & Wes.
Pretty much all on list now replied with their instructions.
A big thanks to those who generously donated their subscription to the club for this year.

No further news from EA regarding competition licence fee. As it is looking pessimistically unlikely there will be any athletics competition before the beginning of next year (we hope to be proved wrong) we will still await reconsideration on reduced amount of EA fee before paying.

Lastly, will advise on re-opening of track as soon as we hear. The very earliest date is still 4th July.
In the meantime if anyone feels tempted to hop over the wall / fence for a surreptitious track session (even on your own) please don’t as you are potentially liable to be prosecuted for trespass.

Dear club member,

We are very pleased to let you know that following receipt of a government coronavirus grant, to support the on going costs of sports clubs, the club committee is able to offer everyone the benefit of a free membership year for 2020/21. We can offer you the following options on annual membership fee :-

1) For those that have paid automatically by direct debit, if you supply our Finance Officer Wes Clarke with your bank details, we will provide a full refund.
OR please let our Membership Officer, Nicola Hopkinson, know if you would like us to retain your paid fee and we will utilise for 2021/22 club membership year.

2) For those of you that have not yet paid there is no need to now do so.

3) Anyone in 1) & 2) above if they so wish to donate this years membership fee to the club we would obviously be very appreciative.

In addition Ilford AC will be very pleased announce that we will also pay your EA fee for 2020/21.

This applies to all categories of club membership.

We are currently waiting to see what will happen regarding England Athletics competition licence fee. At present the deadline for payment has been extended to 1st August. But with no competition looking likely until the Autumn or at worst 2021 we will hold on payments pending either a further extension or waiver of any fees for 20/21.
