I know this has already appeared on FB, and some of you may have received this if you are on Chelmsford AC’s mailing list.

We have some great milers at the club so would be good to see if we can get the club on the leader-board…And for those not so good (like myself), it’s only a mile and only £2-50 so it would be good to see a lot of Ilford AC names on the result sheet.

Chelmsford AC are hosting a virtual mile team challenge event open to all running and athletics clubs in Essex, we thought it would be a great way for all Essex runner who belong to a club to run together and compete against other clubs.
Teams from across Essex have already entered and we’d love to welcome members of your club to join the event, in whatever age categories they can. There is a small £2.50 per person entry fee which will go towards the cost of trophies and medals with all surplus funds going to the NHS Run for Heroes Appeal.
