Hi everyone just to bring you up to date about continuing to help at the drinks station at the LM.
We plan to continue as usual this year but hope to hold a secret ballot in the near future so people can vote. We also intend to contact other clubs to get their viewpoints.
I have emailed LM who said they do not intend to go back to the original format of offering places to clubs who help but will be offering a different incentive, so we shall see.
I know none of us minds giving up our time to help, but the committee feels it’s also important for the LM to encourage club participation in the event.
The decision to pull out will not be taken lightly but will be decided by our members.
