EGM to approve new Club Constitution

Ilford Athletic Club hereby give notice of an Extraordinary General Meeting to be held on Tuesday 8th November at 8.00pm at Ilford Sports Club, Cricklefields.
To transact the following business only :-
1. To adopt a new club Constitution (as attached to this Notice) as at the date of the meeting Proposed Andy Catton Seconded Ernie Forsyth.
No other business will be on the agenda including no discussion on the content of the new Constitution.

By way of background the new Constitution has been drafted (in accordance with an EA recommended legally approved template) to respond to omissions in our historic club rules. This new version will enable the club to proceed with its ongoing English Heritage Fund grant application (our current rules were unacceptable for them) and to enable us to be compliant with new EA Club Standards regulations.
If any club member has any comment, can spot any glaring errors or wishes to query anything please contact me before 31st October.
