Dear CL Team Managers,

Apologies for the omission of the exact lower age limit from yesterday’s round robin.
Your Relay entries must be for seniors only. For Chingford League purposes that means runners who had reached their 17th birthday at the start of the season (24th October).

We’re all very aware of the disappointment this causes. It’s so different from normal times when we’d have U11, U13,U15 and U17s and all their parents and families. They help make the fantastic atmosphere. We hope and trust that we’ll be back to normal next year.

Also, several TMs have pointed out that the round robin also omits a request for volunteers on the day:

Yes, please send the name of your club’s volunteer marshal along with your entries. Please ask them to make themselves known to the officials at the start (by the rugby pitches RM10 7FJ) by 10.30. Clubs which are in the general area of Barking and Dagenham Town Hall, please see if you can get several marshals, we’re going to need quite a few out on the course.
