Please note the following statement with regards to club members use of Social Media, sent on behalf of Andy Catton and Ernie Forsyth –

Can we please remind club members that issues that involve entries for races that need to be coordinated and or dealt with by elected officers of the club i.e. Road & Country Officer, Track & Field Officer and Race Walking Officer should be directed to those persons only using email or phone only and not by use of social media sites or Whattsapp.
Similarly anything that needs to be addressed to any other club officer should be actioned by direct contact by email or by phone call and certainly not by using any open forum media.
If in doubt as to who to contact with any questions, comments or complaints on club business then always channel such correspondence through the General Secretary.
Please also refrain from expressing any controversial views or personal comments directed against any club officer or club member on any social media site or open chat forum.

In addition any matter that the club committee deems to bring the club into disrepute can lead to disciplinary action by the committee.
