Thanks to all past and present members of Ilford A.C for attending Chris’s funeral and memorial service and wake yesterday. It was a sad but also pleasant occasion meeting up with old friends. The chapel was packed with guests standing at the back. I am delighted to tell you that a total of £629.50 was collected in honour of Chris’s memory, and will be donated to St Luke’s Hospice who gave us so much support during the final harrowing month of his life. Love Val Surety and family.
