On behalf of everyone at the club we would like to wish Tom Gardner the very best of luck on his new life in Australia and thank him for his services to the club, especially his help and encouragement to the youngsters.

Tom has been a popular member of the club for 11 years and one of his many achievements included becoming the Essex 5000m Champion in 2015 joining a small list of Ilford Champions that include Robert Hadland 1934 & 1936, Alan Perkins 1956, Andy Catton 1978, 1979 & 1980 and of course Ahmed Abdulle in 2021.
